Junior Administrative Assistant – Program Assistant: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in Computer Science or a related subject from a government-recognised institution. Minimum marks required are 50% in Class 10, 50% in Class 12, and 50% at graduation level. Candidates with an MCA or equivalent degree from a recognised institution will receive up to 10 bonus marks during selection. Work experience in a relevant role under any government or government undertaking office also earns up to 10 extra marks (minimum one year required; 5 years’ experience = 5 marks).
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 1 January 2026. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST(P), and ST(H) candidates (up to 43 years) and by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates (up to 41 years). Age will be verified strictly through the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Certificate; no other document will be accepted for this purpose. All applications must be submitted online at sebaonline.org. The application link will go live from 14 March 2026. Follow the steps below to complete your application. Step 1: Visit the official website at sebaonline.org and look for the ASSEB Recruitment 2026 application link. Step 2: Register or log in to access the application form. Step 3: Fill in all required personal, educational, and experience details accurately. Step 4: Upload scanned copies of the required documents as specified in the form. Step 5: Pay the application fee online (₹500 for General/ ₹350 for Reserved category). Step 6: Submit the application and save the confirmation receipt for future reference. Candidates applying for both posts can do so in a single application. Hard copies are not required — do not send physical documents to the ASSEB office. Applications submitted after 4 April 2026 will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a Common Recruitment Test 2026 (CRT 2026) for all eligible applicants. Shortlisting after the CRT will consider both test scores and any extra marks awarded for MCA/CA Inter qualifications or relevant government work experience. The further selection stages include Document Verification, a Skill Test, and a Computer Test or Tally Test. Detailed modalities of the CRT will be published separately.
