### Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification (as on 01.04.2026)

  • Graduation from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Candidates who have already done apprenticeship training elsewhere or have job experience of one year or more after graduation are not eligible.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026)

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 28 years
  • Candidates must have been born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive).
  • Upper age relaxation applies to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government guidelines.

### Selection Process

The selection consists of two main stages:

Stage 1: Online Written Examination

The online exam is objective and features 100 questions for 100 marks with a total duration of 60 minutes. For vacancies in Assam, the exam questions (except General English) will be available in English, Hindi, Assamese, and Bengali.

  • General/Financial Awareness: 25 Qs / 25 Marks (15 mins)
  • General English: 25 Qs / 25 Marks (15 mins)
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Qs / 25 Marks (15 mins)
  • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 25 Qs / 25 Marks (15 mins)
  • Negative Marking: 1/4th of the mark assigned to a question will be deducted for wrong answers.

Stage 2: Test of Local Language

  • Candidates must pass a local language proficiency test after clearing the written exam.
  • Exemption: If you have a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate proving you studied your chosen local language (Assamese/Bengali/Bodo), you will not have to take this test.
