Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.

The qualification must be from an institution recognized by the Government of India/Government bodies/AICTE or the relevant regulatory authority.

Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State for which they apply.

Candidates shortlisted in the online examination will generally have to qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

The selected candidates will receive salary and other emoluments according to applicable banking-sector settlements and Bank of Baroda policies.

Posting Location

Selected candidates will normally be posted within the State for which they applied for the first 12 years of service or until promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is earlier.

After this period, they may be posted by the Bank to branches/offices anywhere in India, as per the Bank’s requirements.

Probation Period

The selected candidate will remain on probation for:

12 months (1 year) of active service from the date of joining.

Service Bond

Selected candidates have to execute a Service Bond.

The current terms require the candidate to:

  • Serve the Bank for a minimum of 3 years after joining; or
  • Pay an amount equivalent to three months’ Gross Salary, subject to a maximum of ₹2 lakh, if they leave before completing three years of active service.

The Bank has stated that the bond duration and amount may be revised according to its prevailing policies.
