Sibsagar University has released the official notification for the B.Ed. Entrance Test (ET) 2026. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the two-year B.Ed. programme for the 2026 session.

- Online Application Starts: May 7, 2026
- Last Date to Apply: June 19, 2026
- Admit Card Download: June 25 to June 27, 2026
- Date of Entrance Test: June 28, 2026
- Declaration of Result: July 12, 2026
- Admission Date (Offline): July 20, 2026
Eligibility Criteria
- General/OBC: Minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
- Engineering/Technology: Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Science and Mathematics requires a minimum of 55% marks.
- Relaxation: A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
Entrance Test Details
The entrance test will be conducted in offline mode and will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: 60
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark; negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Language: The question paper will be in English.
- Exam Venue: Sibsagar University, Joysagar, Assam.

Selection Process
Selection is based on a composite score:
- Entrance Test (60% weightage): Maximum of 60 marks.
- Career Performance (40% weightage): Maximum of 40 marks based on marks secured in HSLC, HS, Degree, or Master’s Degree.

- Register using your mobile number as User ID and set a password.
- Fill out the application form and upload the required documents, signature, and photograph.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
