Salary / Scale of Pay

Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality & Residency:
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen (as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution).
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Candidates must upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.
2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess at least a Second Class (45%) in any of the following degrees from a government-recognized University or Institution:
- M.Sc. in Geology
- M.Sc. in Applied Geology
- M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geology
- M.Tech in Applied Geology
- Integrated M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geology
3. Age Limit (As on 01-01-2026):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: Relaxable by 5 years (up to 43 years)
- OBC/MOBC: Relaxable by 3 years (up to 41 years)
- PwBD: Relaxable by 10 years (irrespective of category)
- Note: Age is calculated based on the Class-X/Class-XII Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet.
4. Small Family Norms:
- Candidates must submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form – A at the time of applying.
