How to Apply for the post?
Applications will be received on online mode only through a Google Form – as per the link available in the ASTEC Official Website – https://astec.assam.gov.in/.
Selection Process
The applications will be scrutinized based on the academic records of the candidates (maximum of 25 marks for HSLC, 25 marks for Higher Secondary and 50 marks for Graduate examination). Number of candidates to be called for the written test would be on 1:10 ratio (i.e. total 30 nos for Junior Assistant posts). The written test will consist of 100 multiple choice questions carrying one mark in each question. The questions will be class X standard (Mathematics, General Science, English and Social Studies) and Current affairs.
Based on the written test the candidates will be called for the skill test in 1:3 ratio against each post. The skill test will be of 50 marks. In the skill test two or more tests will be taken from the areas of computer typing (DTP) in English and Assamese, MSExcel, google sheet, Power Point presentation preparation, web-surfing, etc.
