## Eligibility Criteria
### 1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized Institution/University as of the closing date:
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or equivalent degree in: Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology (IT), or Instrumentation.
- M.Sc. (Electronics) / M.Sc. (Computer Science).
- Higher qualifications like M.Tech in the prescribed streams are also eligible to apply.
### 2. Age Limit (As of Closing Date)
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (For UR / EWS / OBC-Creamy Layer)
Upper Age Relaxation:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 33 Years
- SC / ST: 35 Years
- PwBD (UR/EWS/OBC-CL): 40 Years
- BSNL Employees (UR/EWS/OBC-CL): 35 Years(Further relaxations for Ex-Servicemen and other combinations apply as per Govt. rules).

### 3. General Requirements
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- The applicant must have binocular vision and be capable of distinguishing principal colors.
## Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection will be entirely based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification and a medical fitness exam.
### Exam Scheme
The exam consists of one paper divided into 3 sections, with a total duration of 3 hours:
- Section I: Engineering Stream I | 50 Questions | 200 Marks
- Section II: Engineering Stream II | 50 Questions | 200 Marks
- Section III: General Ability Test | 20 Questions | 80 Marks
- Total: 120 Questions | 480 Marks
Negative Marking: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded. For each wrong answer, 1 mark (-1) will be deducted.
### Minimum Qualifying Marks
- UR / OBC (CL): 40% in each section and 50% overall combined.
- SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwBD / EWS: 35% in each section and 45% overall combined.
## Service Bond & Probation
- Bond Amount: Selected candidates must execute a service bond of ₹6 Lakhs (Rupees Six Lakhs) to serve BSNL for a minimum period of 5 Years from their appointment date.
- Probation Period: 2 Years.
- Training Course: Mandatory pre-appointment training structure includes Phase-I (10 weeks), Field Training (4 weeks), and Phase-II Specialization (6 weeks).
