Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/System/E&T/Industrial): Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
    • Geology: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.
    • Rajbhasha (Hindi): MA in Hindi with minimum 60% marks and Hindi/English at Graduation level.
    • Company Secretary: Graduate with CS qualification (Associate/Fellow membership of ICSI).
    • Relaxation: Minimum qualifying marks are relaxed to 55% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
  • Appearing Candidates: Those in their final year/semester (2025-26) are eligible if they expect results by August 31, 2026.
  • Upper Age Limit (as of April 30, 2026): 30 years for General (UR) & EWS.
    • Relaxation: 3 years for OBC-NCL , 5 years for SC/ST , and 10–15 years for PwBD. No age bar for departmental candidates.

Selection Process

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT): The selection is based strictly on the marks obtained in a 3-hour online test.
  • Test Pattern: Consists of Paper-I (General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English) and Paper-II (Professional Knowledge) with 100 MCQs each.
  • Qualifying Marks: 40 per paper for UR/EWS, 35 for OBC-NCL, and 30 for SC/ST/PwBD.
  • Final Merit: Based on CBT scores followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. No interviews will be conducted.

Salary & Compensation (E-1 Grade)

  • Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000/-.
  • Initial Basic Pay: ₹60,000/- per month during the 1-year training period.
  • Benefits: Dearness Allowance, HRA, Perquisites (Cafeteria approach), Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical facilities, CMPF, Pension, and Gratuity.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,180/- (₹1,000 + ₹180 GST).
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental Candidates: Exempted from payment.
