- Mandatory Local Languages: Assamese, Bodo, or Garo.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 20 to 30 years as of 01.03.2026.
- Note: Standard government age relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates.
- Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum 18 months of experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (as of 20.04.2026).
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be able to read, write, and understand Assamese, Bodo, or Garo.
- Credit History: Must maintain a healthy credit history with a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining.
Salary & Service Bond
- Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920.
- Joining Benefit: LBOs join at the initial scale plus 3 additional increments.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Service Bond: ₹ Amount equivalent to 3 months’ gross salary for a minimum service period of 3 years.
Selection Procedure
- Written Test: Online exam covering English (30 marks), Banking Knowledge (40 marks), General Awareness/Economy (30 marks), and Computer Aptitude (20 marks).
- Personal Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on written test performance.
- Local Language Test: Mandatory for candidates who did not study the local language in 10th or 12th standard.
