Educational Qualification
1. Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from any Central or State recognized Board.
2. Candidates must have passed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40.
3. Candidates must have proficiency in use of Computers and IT having minimum 30 words per minute computer typing speed in Assamese/Bengali.
Age limit as on 01.01.2026
Candidates should be between 21 years to 40 years. Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PwD) shall be applicable as per Government policy.

Selection Process
Selection Process The selection process consists of two stages:
1. Competitive Written Examination (80 Marks): Subjects include Mathematics (10 Marks), Conventional Survey (50 Marks), and Modern Survey (20 Marks). Negative marking of 0.25 applies.
2. Skill Test (20 Marks): Computer proficiency test including Assamese/Bengali Unicode typing and basic computer operations.
