| Qualified 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics (minimum 50% aggregate marks). OR a three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobiles, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or IT) with 50% aggregate. OR a two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics (minimum 50% aggregate). Candidates appearing for Class 12th exams in 2025-26 are eligible provided they meet all other criteria. |

| How to Apply for the post? |
| Candidates can apply for Agniveer 01/2027 and 02/2027 batch Online only on the website https://joinindiannavy.gov.in from 14 Mar (00:01 hrs) to 06 Apr 2026 (17:00 hrs). Candidates are advised to fill up correct details while filling the online application. Incorrect declaration of information by candidates, identified at any stage would result in cancellation of candidature. The application may be uploaded from Common Service Centers (CSC) across the country, fee of Rs 60 + GST. This facility is entirely optional. |

| The selection is conducted in two primary stages: Stage-I: Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) Tentative Date: May 2026. Exam Pattern: Computer-based test with 100 objective-type questions (1 hour duration) Sections: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness (10+2 standard). Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. Examination Fee: ₹550 plus 18% GST.
